This is a Bandcamp re-upload of a special release from The Ambient Collective, originally made public in October 2010 at
archive.org/details/thegreatschizmmix. It contains five tracks by The Great Schizm, mixed together by Bluejooz of The Ambient Collective, into a single long-form piece.
The first track is the complete and full-length version of K2, it's shorter counterpart making its first appearance on the double-disc epic 'The Eight-Thousanders' (
archive.org/details/TheEight-thousanders;
archive.org/details/TheEight-thousanders2).
The second piece, starting at 12:37, is Cloud Hunter, The Great Schizm's signature track. This piece first appeared on The Ambient Collective release 'The Serene Files: Part II' (
archive.org/details/SereneFilesPart2).
The third piece, starting at 21:40, is the complete and full-length version of Nanga Parbat, which also appeared in shorter form as part of 'The Eight-Thousanders' (
archive.org/details/TheEight-thousanders;
archive.org/details/TheEight-thousanders2).
The fourth track, starting at 31:16, is a track from The Ambient Collective release 'perSONIAKal' (
archive.org/details/personikal). Every artist attempted to create a piece of music which was meant to be a personification of themselves.
The fifth and final track, starting at 36:44, is an exclusive mountainous track titled Baintha Brakk, which has never been released anywhere else.
